Editorial Process
The editorial process is simple.
The first step is to contact SciWriters with a brief description of your project.  You will them be asked to e-mail your manuscript, grant proposal, or other document.

You will receive a complimentary, “no obligation” price quote along with an estimate of how long the project will take.  Work will begin upon your acceptance of the quote.

Suggested edits will be incorporated using the word software’s editorial features so that you can choose to accept or reject each editorial suggestion.

Questions?  Ready to get started?  Send a brief e-mail with your name and contact information.

Non-native English Speakers
Is English a second language for you?  SciWriters understands that it is extremely difficult to express complex ideas in what, to you, is a foreign language.  SciWriters’ founder, Deborah Fitzgerald, is experienced in working with non-native English speakers.  She offers a personalized service in which she and the client e-mail drafts with progressive revisions back and forth.  This continues until the manuscript reaches the desired level.

The process of helping non-native speakers craft effective, publication ready scientific manuscripts is not always quick or easy.  Multiple revisions are often required.  The degree of editorial assistance needed will depend largely on the client's English skill level.

Deborah will work closely with you to keep costs within an acceptable level, but please understand that the additional time required for complex revisions will add to the cost of the project.
